The New Photo of the Downton Abbey Household

So here we have the famous household photo, this time for Season 4. As expected, O'Brien is missing. On the left, we see Mr. Carson and Mrs. Hughes as the mainstays of the servants, followed immediately by the new underbutler Thomas and the head footman Jimmy, with Ivey standing between him and Alfred (O'Brien's nephew), who flanks little Daisy. Rumor has it that Alfred will be leaving too.Now Daisy seems to be angled away to the right a bit. Perhaps this shows her conflicted feelings about being the assistant cook or being the heiress to her father-in-law's farm. Mrs. Patmore is smiling. Anna is next, dressed in black and next to Mr. Bates. Then Isabel in black, still mourning Matthew, and the Dowager Countess in purple, lighter mourning, with her daughter-in-law Cora in white (not one to mourn or stray from her main purpose -- the marriages of her daughters). At the head of the family is Lord Grantham, predictably, and then Mary draped in black, still in deep mourning. Edith is dressed in 20s' style, an orange (?) get-up, with Tom next to her, and Rose bringing up the rear.

The photo is as noteworthy for what it is missing as it is for what it contains. None of the new actors are in it, not even the new valet. So in the picture, just as in the many spoilers that have leaked out, we really have no new information, nothing that is more than a general look at the old characters and the new story.
